About the Author

Iris Bohnet is the Albert Pratt Professor of Business and Government at Harvard Kennedy School, where she co-directs the Women and Public Policy Program. A behavioral economist who combines insights from economics and psychology, she previously authored the award-winning book What Works: Gender Equality by Design. She has served as academic dean of Harvard Kennedy School for six years and advises governments and companies worldwide, including roles as Special Advisor on the Gender Equality Acceleration Plan to the UN Secretary-General and member of the Gender Equality Advisory Council of the G7. Siri Chilazi is a senior researcher at the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School, and an internationally recognized expert in advancing gender equality in organizations. She conducts research on how organizations can become more inclusive while translating these insights for practitioners through speaking, training, and advisory work with organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
