About the Author
Daniel Levitin is a neuroscientist, cognitive psychologist, and musician who has authored multiple best sellers including This Is Your Brain on Music, The World in Six Songs, The Organized Mind, and Successful Aging. Before entering academia, he worked as a session musician and record producer, contributing to albums by major artists like Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, and Joni Mitchell. He currently serves as Founding Dean of Arts & Humanities at Minerva University and is Professor Emeritus at McGill University.
